The Consumers’ and Banks’ Council begins its work
To make financial market development sustainable and find effective ways to solve banks and consumers associations problems thereof, Bank of Lithuania has established The Consumers’ and Banks’ Council and is going to coordinate its activities.
The Council will determine the most immediate and pressing practical consumer and banking customers’ problems and propose theirs solutions. It is hoped, that the Council will submit proposals to improve the financial services industry regulation, settlement of disputes between consumers and banks, establish business practices based on high ethical standards.
Partner of TRINITI, attorney at law Vytautas Kalmatavičius will represent the Association of Lithuanian banks’ customers in the Council.
