TRINITI team provides legal assistance to ELEKTRUM LIETUVA, a modern customer – orientated power company, on various legal issues related to the supply of electricity. TRINITI lawyers assisted the client in drafting and correcting the standard agreements on electricity supply to be used in the client’s activities, agreements on solar plants purchase and installation, provided legal advice on Lithuanian legal acts on electricity supply, construction, protection of the consumers and other services.
TRINITI represented a group of Lithuanian parliament members in the Lithuanian Constitutional Court investigating whether the provisions of the Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania is not in conflict with the Constitution.
TRINITI team advised a group of the Lithuanian parliament members on legal issues and represented them in the Lithuanian Constitutional Court investigating the procedure and terms for the extension of the provisions of the Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the expiry of the permits issued for the development of electricity generating capacities from renewable energy sources.
The legal matter was of significant importance to Lithuanian legal environment in the energy field, as by the decision of the Constitutional Court, adopted on 21 December 2018 the limitation, established in the Law on Electricity on extending the time limit of the validity of an authorization to develop the capacity of electricity generation from renewable energy sources declared unconstitutional.
Triniti advised RAFAKO S. A., a leader on the Polish power generation equipment market and the biggest boiler producer in Europe, as well as a leader within the field of flue gas desulfurization plants based on wet lime and semi-dry methods, on construction of a new combined heat and power plant in Vilnius.
TRINITI lawyers advise the Client on a daily basis with regards to the construction works. A new heat and power plant will consist of two CHP units: a waste burning unit and a biofuel burning unit. The biofuel burning equipment will be installed by Polish energy object builder Rafako for 149.65 million euros.
Triniti Estonia advised the management and shareholders of SW Energia OÜ in the restructuring of SW Energia OÜ group companies. We provided legal assistance in relation to elaborating the restructuring plan, registering the company’s shares in Estonian Central Register of Securities, founding a new company, preparing shareholders’ agreements, amending the articles of association of companies, and executing and concluding share purchase agreements.
